In June, Shaun attended the first Sustainable Food Factory Conference held in Nottingham. We were able to meet with other people in the industry to explore new developments with sustainability in the food industry.

The Dung Beetle Conference 2024
Yeo Valley in partnership with First Milk hosted The Dung Beetle Conference in June. Applied ecology is so applicable to livestock farming and vetting, and in this conference it is really exciting to bring together so many voices focusing on the mighty dung beetle. This conference focused on a brilliant legacy of research, and takes the next step by bringing together farmers, vets, soil experts, entomologists and researchers to celebrate the great work going on, but also to shape future policy and regulation.

Pattemores have been attending some evening events to learn more about the "Six Inches of Soil" which shows the story of British farmers standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food - to heal the soil, benefit our health and provide for local communities.

Field to Food Learning Day - Bath and West Showground
Pattemores Transport and Dairy Ingredients enjoyed their 2nd year at the Field to Food Learning Day at the Bath and West Showground yesterday. With 1,500 primary school children attending the day, the Field to Food Learning Day is all about educating the next generation about farming and food producrion
