Logshayne Farm - The Broom Family
Logshayne Farm in Colyton has been in the Broom family since 1892! Now run by Nigel and his family, the 600-acre site is home to 350 Holstein cows, which spend the summer months free to graze in the fields of the delightful, rolling East Devon landscape.
The everyday running of the farm is a real family affair and the keen interest of Nigel and wife Sandra's four children ensures that Logshayne Farm will one day be passed down to a fifth generation of Brooms!
Sutton Barton Farm - Andy & Philip Cooke
Situated in the beautiful Devon countryside, Sutton Barton Farm has been home to the Cooke family for over 60 years. Now run by father and son Andy and Philip, it is home to 700 cows and has been a member of the Red Tractor scheme ever since it began back in 2000.
They place the utmost importance on the welfare of their cows and regular visits from the vet and nutritionist ensure the cows are healthy, happy and well fed. It is this kind of care and attention to detail that ensures that milk produced is always of the highest quality.
Red Tractor Scheme
Established in 2000, the Red Tractor has gone from strength to strength and is now the UK's leading farm and quality assurance scheme. The Red Tractor logo indcates that your food or drink is traceable, safe to consume and has been produced responsibly. Not only that, the logo also guarantees that the produce has been farmed, processed and packed in Britain.
The Red Tractor scheme is very important to us here at Pattemores as we are passionate about providing only the very best quality dairy products to our customers. When we supply Red Tractor approved, we do so safe in the knowledge that it is of the highest standard and has been produced to some of the most respected and comprehensive standards in the world.
